Donations for LHS Clothes Closet |

A TON of stuff was just picked up from the Leesburg Area Chamber - all items donated for the Leesburg High School Clothes Closet. Ms. Ashworth from LHS was ecstatic over the amount of items that were donated.
Thank you to those who have donated!!!
The Clothes Closet benefits the students who wouldn't ordinarily have clothes to wear. They accept shoes, belts, purses, toiletries, underwear, coats, sweaters, jackets, etc.
Donations are accepted at the Chamber office, 103 S. 6th St., Leesburg between the hours of 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday, or at the Sunrise Breakfasts.

December 6th is our ever fabulous Chamber Leadership Salute from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm. This year’s theme is a Beach Party!! What’s more, it will be held at Ski Beach, Venetian Gardens!!!
Wear your beach gear, come out & enjoy food from Outback Steakhouse & beach music!! There will be a HUGE tent, real bathrooms, great drinks!!

December 13th is our Sunset Connections at Belk at Lake Square Mall from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm!!! Finish (or start) your Christmas shopping with some fabulous deals. There will be wonderful food & drink, 50/50 Raffle tickets, people in Santa hats, all waiting for you!!!
December 20th is our Sunrise Breakfast at the Leesburg Community Building, 109 E. Dixie Ave., starting at 7:15 am. City of Leesburg is the sponsor – they always have some fun & entertaining surprises planned!! There will be a video for the Business Wellness Challenge shown… you don’t want to miss this video!!!

Today's Business Spotlight shines on: Kids Central, Inc., 2117 SW Highway 484, Ocala. Executive Assistant to the CFO Barbara Myshrall shared this with us - November is National Adoption Month! Foster Care was intended to be temporary, but many children remain in care for years. Special needs kids, older kids & sibling groups, through no fault of their own, cannot return home.
